As a registered BC Hydro Alliance Consultant, Enginuity delivers Integrated Energy Audits (IEAs) to help industrial clients in British Columbia better understand their energy use, emissions, and efficiency potential. These audits, fully funded by BC Hydro, provide facilities with a holistic view of operations and a roadmap to long-term energy and cost savings.
Recently, Enginuity was engaged to complete an IEA at a high-tech, cleanroom-based bio-manufacturing facility. The analysis covered nearly 55,000 square feet of mixed-use space, including 10,000 square feet of ISO-certified cleanroom operations running 24/7.
The Scope: Our team carried out baseline analysis using utility data and equipment reviews, developed energy balance models across HVAC, cleanroom, lighting, and process systems, and identified opportunities in Energy Efficiency (EE), Low Carbon Electrification (LCE), and Load Displacement (LD).
Our Work: We estimated energy savings, emissions reductions, and implementation costs for each opportunity, and compiled the results into a comprehensive Opportunity Register—providing the client with a data-backed roadmap to project prioritization, incentive pathways, and long-term operational efficiency.
