BC Hydro Integrated Energy Audits:
- A high-level review of energy opportunities across your faciilty
- Fully funded by BC Hydro for eligible sites (up to $50,000 per facility)
- Evaluates opportunities in:
- Energy Efficiency (EE) – reduce power consumption and peak demand
- Low-Carbon Electrification (LCE) – replace fossil fuels with clean electricity
- Demand Response (DR) – shift or manage energy use for cost and grid benefits
- Distributed Generation (DG) – integrate on-site renewables or backup systems
- Includes a tailored Energy Opportunity Report outlining savings, costs, and next steps
BC Hydro Feasibility Studies:
- A detailed analysis on the technical and financial viability of a specific energy-savings project
- Funding available through BC Hydro to offset study costs (typically 50 to 100%)
- Focused on defined projects or technologies such as process upgrades, equipment replacements, or electrification measures
- Provides detailed savings calculations, capital cost estimates, and payback analysis
- Confirms eligibility for further incentive funding under BC Hydro implementation program
