Primary Crushing Plant, Dumper & Infeed

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Enginuity supported Arcosa with the engineering and delivery of purpose‑built foundations for a new crusher, screening, and conveyor system at an active aggregate operation. The project focused on creating a robust structural platform capable of supporting heavy, dynamic equipment while accommodating challenging site conditions and construction sequencing constraints. By pairing practical design with close coordination across disciplines, Enginuity helped enable safe installation, long‑term performance, and operational reliability for a critical processing upgrade.

This project involved the design and implementation of foundations supporting key components of a crushing and screening system, including crushers, a screen tower, and associated conveyors. With equipment subject to dynamic loads and continuous operation, the foundations were required to provide stability, durability, and resilience under demanding service conditions. Enginuity was engaged to translate equipment requirements and site realities into a constructible foundation solution – balancing performance, constructability, and schedule certainty. The work included layout coordination, foundation and pedestal design, and refinement of the structural approach as site conditions were confirmed during construction.

Through a collaborative and responsive engineering process, Enginuity delivered a foundation system that supports both current operations and future flexibility, providing Arcosa with a reliable base for ongoing production.

Accomplishments:

  • Delivered a durable foundation system designed for heavy, dynamic crusher and screening operations
  • Reduced construction and operational risk through practical, site‑responsive engineering
  • Supported efficient equipment installation and long‑term reliability
