Nanak Foods – Food Plant Relocation + Expansion

ABOUT THE PROJECT

For Nanak Foods, the first challenge was understanding what was already there. Beginning with limited process documentation, Enginuity worked closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand how their people and production worked best, and where targeted upgrades could improve performance and support long-term growth.

Operational baselines and capacity constraints were established within the context of day-to-day operations, then used to guide future-state process flows, equipment requirements, expansion scenarios, conceptual layouts, and 3D facility models. When the project later shifted to a new property and from a proposed two-storey facility to a single-level site, the planning framework adapted with it.

Because the framework was built around Nanak’s operations rather than a specific building, the planning remained relevant as the direction changed, giving the team a flexible foundation for making decisions and planning for growth.
