TRANSLINK SEABUS STATION UPGRADES

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

The frequent ferry service across Burrard Inlet from North Vancouver to Coal Harbour in Vancouver is operated by TransLink.  This service has been in place for over 30 years without any major changes to the terminal facilities other than routine maintenance.  EC was successfully awarded the assessment & upgrade project. The scope included review and assessment of the North Terminal ramp arrangement for ingress and egress from the ferry to the terminal.  This review was for bringing the system into compliance with current building code requirements to provide a concept design & report of solutions.  From the chosen concepts by TransLink, EC proceeded to design and engineering, followed by and implementation of these designs on behalf of TransLink.
