WWS – New Rail Infrastructure
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Wallenius Wilhelmsen Solutions (WWS) is a market leader vehicle logistics, managing the distribution of cars, trucks, rolling equipment and breakbulk to customers all over the world. The Annacis Island facility is the main hub for import of cars into the Lower Mainland. This project built upon previous feasibility work carried out by Enginuity in 2020.
The Rail Portion of this project involved expansion of new tracks and extensions to facilitate increased throughput and capacity. Enginuity’s involvement increased the resilience of the transportation system by reducing the extent train building required within the existing yard, leading to smoother yard operations and increased capacity
