RIDLEY ISLAND PROPANE EXPORT TERMINAL
About the project
A $500 million Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) export terminal on Ridley Island, Prince Rupert, transferring about 80,000 barrels per day from rail cars to carrier set out for Japan to be commissioned in 2018. The facility is a greenfield facility overlaying an existing Coal Terminal.
Enginuity collaborated with the owner’s engineers and managers to undertake design and consulting services for balance of plant design (BOP) with design limits including a 90,000 cubic meter Refrigerated Storage Tank, Liquid Loading Lines, BOG Return lines, Marine Loading Arms, and Supply Pumps. Work was supported including Utilities and Deluge System within the battery limits.
