Vancouver Fraser Port Authority / WWS – New Processing Facilities

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Wallenius Wilhelmsen Solutions (WWS) is a market leader vehicle logistics, managing the distribution of cars, trucks, rolling equipment and breakbulk to customers all over the world. Located on Vancouver Port Authority Lands, the Annacis Island facility is the main hub for import of cars into the Lower Mainland. Enginuity was successfully awarded the Auto Terminal Facilities Project by WWS and the VFPA. This project built upon previous feasibility work carried out by Enginuity in 2020.

The Facilities portion of this project involved demolition, replacement, and new construction of processing facilities to optimize terminal operations. The purpose was to improve efficiency and capacity of the auto terminal, to support climate change resiliency by responding to the increased demand of electric vehicles, and to support economic development.
